Hello, my name is Theresa, your American Heart Association Instructor.  I am a LPN and have been for over 20 years.  My nursing career is based on helping people learn.  For the past 6 years, I have been working at Rivergate Pediatrics as a Triage nurse for 5 pediatricians.  For the past 5 1/2 years I have been certified with the American Heart Association as a Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Instructor with a goal of helping every person I talk with learn what to do in emergency situations until professional help arrives.  Take a walk through my website to learn how we can help you help others.

We are located in Goodlettsville, TN and have accomodated classes for people from Kentucky and TN. In all our classes we have 4 adult/child manikins with an audible clicking sound to confirm depth of compressions.  Our 4 baby manikins come with choking devices to give the real feeling of when a foreign object is released.  When you complete one of our classes you will feel a sense of confidence that you will be able to assist someone in an emergency situation until EMS arrives before you walk out of the classroom.  If you don't have that feeling we will review the skills again and again until you do. Our classes are designed for you to practice while watching a video and with an instructor coaching along the way.  There is ample amount of practice time with real case scenarios.  You will also be confident on the use of an AED.  

We have CPR classes for people in Healthcare and non-Healthcare (ie.teachers, restaurant workers, daycare workers, highschool students, aerobics instructors, just to name a few).  We also offer First Aid for everyone.
